1. Our services

1. Services Provided

IstarMaintenance (“The Company”) agrees to provide plumbing, gas, heating, tiling, and renovation services as outlined in the provided quote. All gas-related work is performed by Gas Safe Registered engineers in compliance with UK safety regulations.

2. Quotes & Estimates

  • All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

  • Quotes are based on a visible inspection. If unforeseen issues arise (e.g., hidden pipe corrosion or structural problems), the Company will inform the Client of any additional costs before proceeding.

 

Payments and Deposits

  • Renovations: A deposit may be required to secure a start date and cover initial material costs.

  • Final Payment: Full payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Late Payments: The Company reserves the right to charge interest on any overdue invoices.

Client Obligations

  • The Client must ensure clear access to the property and the specific work area.

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring all necessary permissions (e.g., from landlords or local authorities) are obtained before work begins.

Guarantees & Liability

  • Workmanship: We provide a guarantee on our workmanship for a period of [e.g., 12 months] from completion.

  • Materials: Manufacturer warranties apply to all installed parts (boilers, pumps, etc.).

  • Limitations: The Company is not liable for pre-existing plumbing/heating faults or damage caused by circumstances outside our control (e.g., local water pressure spikes or external gas supply failures).
